Women in Airports and Infrastructure Event

Women in Airports and Infrastructure Event

As part of NZ Airports Hui in Hamilton, the NZ Airports Association hosted ‘Women in Aviation & Infrastructure’. The event showcased the importance of growing diversity in aviation and was an excellent opportunity to network, share experiences and opportunities for growth in the aviation industry.

Alice Jones from JNP Aviation Training and Michelle Le Gallais from JNP Aviation, attended to hear from influential women leaders in the airport, airline and infrastructure sectors on their careers and experiences. Led by Billie Moore (CEO of NZ Airports Association), highly regarded and influential women in strategic and operational roles in aviation such as Auckland Airport CEO Carrie Hurihanganui, shared their strategies for being effective in challenging work environments.

This was an excellent event where attendees from across the sector and around the country could grow their workplace and social network. Alice and Michelle found the event very beneficial, especially in regard to key challenges and interest areas in career development, building resilience and balance, and maintaining wellbeing at work.
