JNP Aviation Limited requires additional Team Members at Blenheim Airport for roles including Airline Ground Handlers & Ramp Service Agents.

Join our busy team at Blenheim Airport which requires Airline Ground Handlers, Baggage Handlers and Ramp Service Agents now!

Ramp Services Agents (Baggage Handlers) perform a range of duties, which might include:

  • Transporting customer baggage to and from the aircraft
  • Loading and unloading aircraft
  • Performing aircraft cleaning
  • Servicing aircraft water and other systems
  • Operating airport equipment in the ramp area

The airport is a fast-paced and safety-focused team environment. The work hours are variable to meet airline schedules and will include early starts, late finishes, and weekends based on rosters.

  • Efficient, reliable, and well presented
  • Customer focused to deliver exceptional service
  • Fluent in English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Flexible and available for shift work that includes early starts, late finishes, weekends and public holidays
  • Minimum of NZ Restricted Driver's license required
  • Physical fitness required as lifting up to 23Kgs per bag is normal (32kg max occasional)
  • AVSEC (CAA) eligibility

All training and uniforms are supplied!

Position Prerequisites:-You must have a Current NZ Driver’s License/Minimum Restricted.

  • You must be able to pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal Record Clearance.
  • You must pass a full medical including Drug & Alcohol testing.
  • You must meet Civil Aviation Security requirements.
  • You must be legally able to work in New Zealand.

Desirable:

  • An NZQA-approved micro-credential or certificate in aviation ground handling.
  • Flight Radio Telephone Operator beneficial

Availability to work on rotating 7-day roster. Early and late shifts are also in the equation.

All successful applicants need to undertake the necessary Ministry of Justice Criminal background checks as well as pre-employment drug and alcohol screening prior to being offered any employment.
